Steve is an Estate and Tax Attorney practicing law since 1979. He graduated with a degree in Management from Boston University. A Law Degree from New England School of Law. He was a participant at Boston University School of Law, Graduate Tax Program and he currently holds Series 7, 24, and 63 Securities Licenses, and Life and Disability Insurance Licenses.
After working at the Trust Department of U.S. Trust Company of Boston and an Estate Planning Consultant for New England Mutual Insurance, Steve entered private practice. From here the desire to incorporate the necessary products and services to provide inclusive Estate Planning, Tax, Insurance and Investment Services, Steve formed Trust Advisory Group, a SEC Registered Investment Advisor, and Advisory Group Equity Services, a full-service broker/dealer. This allowed Steve to provide individuals and couples estate tax and financial recommendations including estate planning legal documentations. Steve sold the Broker/Dealer and RIA in 2008 and continued to be a Registered Principal until 2021.
Today, Steve is the President of Wealth Insurance Services LLC, Trust Advisory Services Group LLC, and consultant at MARGARET TULLY. He is also Registered Principal of Gradient Securities. Through these entities Steve continues to provide his sought after expertise in analysis and co ordination with Estate, Tax, Investment Analysis and Financial planning. In the world of financial services many people wear similar titles. One person can call themselves a Financial Consultant, Wealth Advisor, or Financial Planner. They all help people with their finances. The truth is they are only as good as the license behind them. If someone only has an insurance license and calls themselves a Financial Consultant than they will only recommend insurance products. If someone is an RIA, then they will only charge fees on investments available to them, and leave out Insurance Products and other investments. Northwestern Mutual will not sell Insured Indexes because it competes directly with their whole life product and they do not want that. Buyer beware.
